About Us

Foundation Pasos de Luz

It is a legally established nonprofit organization in Ecuador, with legal status, officially registered with the Ministry of Social Inclusion of Ecuador under Resolution No. MIES-CZ-4-DDJ-2023-0042-R, dated November 21, 2023.

Our team is entirely made up of parents of children with Autism and Down Syndrome, who, based on our own experience, are committed to improving the lives of our children and those of many other families who share this reality.

Our Mission

Providing access to specialized therapies, early intervention, and updated strategies to support the healthy development of children with autism and children with Down syndrome.
Creating a support network for parents by providing emotional support, educational workshops, and practical information to improve their children's quality of life.
Creating an inclusive space where autistic and Down Syndrome youth and adults can engage in easy, simple, and meaningful ocupational activities.

Our Vision

To become the most complete integrative center, where children, adolescents, and adults with autism or Down syndrome receive professional and conscious support to navigate their personal and family lives more easily. This will be achieved with the guidance of specialists, professionals, and parents who have already walked this path and wish to become a source of experience and support for other parents.
